🚫 Bot does not start.
Make sure that /start is working correctly.
🚫 Bot description is not filled in
Make sure to fill in the "What this bot can do" field, which the user sees immediately after navigating.
🚫 Bot is created for lead collection only
You can't publish only adverts in bots - collectors of leads and user data (name, phone number, email address) won't get through.
There must be a purpose other than adverts.
🚫 Bot is created for channel promotion only
If the bot has no other functions except for advertising some channel, such a bot will not pass.
But: ✅ you can run adverts directly to a channel
🚫 Bot has no custom functions Bad example: a bot in question-answer format with an answer choice in each question and an external link at the end. The purpose of such a bot is most likely to get the user's contact, not to share the benefit with them. It's better if the bot has a scenario: user interactivity, questions with user answer input, or multiple choice questions.
🚫 Non-interactive bot.
Bots that send questions to which the user's answer does not play any role (the scenario does not evolve depending on the answer) are forbidden. Such bots usually contain an external link at the end (redirects the user somewhere, for example, to a webinar, channel, website, application download, etc.) or a request to leave a phone number. All of these features can be easily implemented inside the bot (including payments) in a suitable place and successfully advertised.
🚫 Bot functionality is unduly dependent on channel subscription or phone number
